Based on liquid crystal polymer technology, privacy glass can become switchable within < 10 milliseconds . By switching the glass on and off, control of privacy within the space is achieved in no time.

Switchable, laminated privacy glass can be used in a variety of applications, ranging from standard windows to office meeting rooms, bathrooms and even showers and toilets. This technology limited only by your imagination.
How it works
The unique switchable privacy glass has a function that the transmittance of the glass can be controlled by electrical switching. It also simultaneously has a function of the real projection screen whereby images can be projected onto the glass Front or Rear; eliminating the need for projector screens or white walls.
LC is dispersed within a formulated polymer enabling the crystal particles to be aligned parallel in respect of each other when the flow of electricity occurs. When the flow is stopped the crystals return to their original position, blocking the flow of light.
This electric glass is often used as privacy glass in commercial and domestic buildings.
